Introducing Sweet Baby Jude!

Meet little Jude, baby #5 for one of my favorite families. I've had the privilege of photographing each of these kiddos for their newborn pictures. In fact, their oldest, Jack, was my very first photo job! It has been so much fun to watch this family grow, and the kids are sweet as can be! Jude is a lucky little man -- he was born into a house surrounded by love, laughter, and big brothers and sisters who can't wait to have him running around playing with them!

Thank you, Erika and Kyle, for trusting me with your newborn pictures again -- I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

The Sykes-Maxey Family!

I always love taking pictures for this family -- not only are they a blast during their sessions, but they are also our good friends. It's been so fun to watch the kids as they grow and change through the years, and I love the relationship they share. There really is something truly special when you watch the kids interact together -- they share a bond that you don't see every day!

Thank you, Hayley and Gabby, for letting me take pictures for you again this year!

Lauren the Warrior, Class of 2018

This young woman is the epitome of strength. I have been taking pictures of Lauren and her family for years, and have enjoyed watching her grow. This summer, as she was preparing for her senior year of high school, she was involved in a horrific accident in which she was run over by a car while riding her bike. She endured many surgeries and spent weeks in the ICU and later a rehabilitation facility. She kept her positive attitude and determination through all of it, and as a result she has been able to start attending classes again and is back up on her feet!

I can't say enough about how honored I was to get to take Lauren's senior pictures -- this is just the first session. We were trying to get some quick head shots for her for the yearbook (which explains the similar composition for all of them), but stay tuned for the full session in the spring when she is feeling more like her old self again! :)

Abby, Class of 2018!

It has been a long time since I've posted anything on here! I haven't added anything from recent shoots, so I'm going to try to catch up and post a few of the more recent ones. I've been blessed with some amazing subjects! :)

First up -- Abby! Abby came up from Colorado Springs for her senior pictures, and it just happened to be on the ONE day we had really bad smoke in the air from the fires in Montana. We weren't sure if we'd be able to get many shots, but the air cleared just enough to get some beautiful ones! This was a fun shoot because we got to do a little bit of everything -- some urban settings as well as some natural ones.

Thank you, Abby, for letting me take your senior pictures for you!

Sweet Baby Nathaniel, 5 Days New

I had the pleasure of getting to meet little Mr. Nathaniel when he was just 5 days old, and I can't believe how alert he already was! He's such a happy little man, content to just look around and take in this whole new world. And it was an especially fun treat to watch him with his big brother!

Thank you, Heather, for letting me come into your home to capture these moments for you -- I hope you love your sneak peek!

Willow made sure to keep a close eye on me (and my backdrop stand case)!

The Sykes-Maxey Family

I am always excited when I get to photograph this family -- they are some of our very best friends, and they are always fun during a session! And we had a BEAUTIFUL night for photos -- I can't believe it's late October and it is still so warm! I do love it when the weather gets cold and cozy, but warm and clear weather sure does make for some amazing lighting during sessions!
