Elijah's first birthday!

One year ago today we met sweet little Elijah for the first time. It's hard to believe he's already a year old!!! His moms, Hayley and Gabby threw him quite a bash for his first birthday last weekend, complete with a bouncy castle (that Benjamin still can't seem to stop talking about). He's about as sweet as they come, and we love getting to watch him grow up! Happy birthday, little man!

What better way to spend a beautiful Sunday morning than playing at a park? These boys know how to have fun! I loved getting to follow Colin, Henry, and Sam around while they explored the playground. It was great to see three brothers with such distinctly different personalities, and you could really tell that they enjoy playing together!

Trip to Massachusetts, July 2010

We spent 11 days out in Massachusetts over the past couple weeks. I was attending meetings for work, and Aimee and Benjamin came along to keep me company. It was a great trip -- our hotel was right on the beach, so we were able to go out each day to play in the water. Benjamin LOVED playing in the waves -- it was hard to get him to come in each day! We also celebrated Benjamin's second birthday while we were out there. It's becoming a tradition for us, as we have gone there for four years now. In fact, we celebrated Benjamin's first birthday there, too!

A few years ago we discovered a love of searching for sea glass on this beach. We've become a bit obsessed...

We were treated to the most beautiful moonrises while we were there. This was taken outside our hotel room right as the full moon came up over the water of Nantasket Beach.

Of course no trip to Boston is complete without a visit to the Make Way for Ducklings sculpture!

There's an amazing old carousel that has been restored right on the boardwalk by the hotel we stay at. We always end up spending quite a bit of time there.

Our good friends Kristi and Arika came up to help us celebrate Benjamin's birthday, but it was also a special day because we got to meet sweet little Mia for the first time!

Old Sturbridge Village, Massachusetts

Tyler, 1 year old

I was lucky enough to get to take pictures of Tyler and family while they were in town for the week. It was so cute to watch Tyler explore the lake, and he LOVED playing with the rocks and flowers! It was definitely a great way to spend a morning!

Selah, 8 days old

I was so excited to meet Selah! When I took her mom and dad's maternity pictures (http://kimberlyschummphotography.blogspot.com/2010/04/awaiting-selah.html), I had no idea what a sweetheart she would be. Selah was a perfect angel and just slept most of the time we were taking pictures! And you have to love the Harley-Davidson hat...


Adam saved his stuffed puppy from when he was a little boy, and he and Courtney found Selah a new one of her very own that matches her daddy's. It was so sweet to see her snuggle right up to it...
