My Benjamin, 3 years old

So, each fall I try to find a weekend that I can go get pictures of my own little guy. This year, I took some while we were camping outside of Tincup, Colorado, which I just happen to think is the most beautiful place on the planet. It's actually a ghost town, but the cemetery up there (oddly enough) has the most spectacular views and the colors are always phenomenal each year. I ended up taking some in Denver this year, too, so there's quite a difference in color between the two spots.

I actually took these a couple months ago, but I'm just now getting around to posting them. Our new little one will be here in less than three weeks now, so I figured I should get these up before posting some of Benjamin's new little brother or sister!

I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving!

A few more of Elena...

Because I just couldn't resist. Is she not the cutest?

Elena, 8 months

As we were getting close to the date for Elena's photo shoot, we were worried that the weather would be too cold. Her mom found the most adorable tutu and hat set on Etsy just for the photos, so luckily we were able to reschedule it for the afternoon and the sun warmed everything up perfectly! Elena was such a sweetheart through the shoot, and I loved watching her interact with her mom and dad. She couldn't stop smiling at every noise and whistle they made -- it was the sweetest thing ever! Thanks Kristin and Pete for allowing me to spend the afternoon with the three of you -- I hope you enjoy your sneak peak!

A Very Special Family Photo Shoot

When Tara contacted me to take pictures of her family I was so excited! I first met Tara back in 2007. She is a sonographer at a clinic that I have gone to with both of my pregnancies, and she was able to give me my first-ever glimpse at Benjamin and then my little Monkey who is due to arrive in December when I was 6 weeks pregnant with each. I had heard her talk about her family, but had never had the opportunity to meet them in person, so this was a special opportunity. We met for our photo shoot on a beautiful Sunday morning out at Lone Hawk farm, and I had so much fun watching her kids play! Between hay bales, tractors, old trucks, great stories, and bubbles there was plenty for Reese and Vann to do! Add Dad, Grandma and Grandpa and Aunt Tara, and it's a recipe for a perfect morning. Thanks so much, Tara, for the opportunity to take pictures for you -- I only hope you enjoy the pictures from your session as much as I treasure the first precious images that you have given me of my own little ones! :)

Avery, 3 months

I had a great time meeting Avery this past week to take pictures. She is such a happy, mellow baby, and she seemed to be fascinated by the camera. There were times she just seemed to want to study the black box that I kept putting in front of my face. They just don't get much sweeter than this little girl...

Brad - Class of 2012!

I met Brad and his mom at the Lone Hawk Farm this past week to take Brad's senior pictures. I think it might just be one of the most beautiful farms in the area, and the views are spectacular! We had a great time walking around the property finding unique places to take pictures, and I love how they turned out. Thank you Brad and Michele for letting me take pictures for you and for making it such a fun morning, and thank you Kristin for allowing us use your beautiful farm!
