The Sykes-Maxey Family

I am always excited when I get to photograph this family -- they are some of our very best friends, and they are always fun during a session! And we had a BEAUTIFUL night for photos -- I can't believe it's late October and it is still so warm! I do love it when the weather gets cold and cozy, but warm and clear weather sure does make for some amazing lighting during sessions!

Aronoff Family, Part 2!

I've been lucky enough to photograph the Aronoff family for the past several years, but this year I got to meet the extended family, too! They were such a fun group, and we couldn't have had more beautiful weather. I love how close-knit these guys are -- they all live close together, and you can tell that they are friends as much as they are family.

Aronoff Family, Silo Park

I never got around to posting a preview of this session back when it took place over the summer, but I had to post it because it was so much fun! We checked out Silo Park, and I fell in love with it. I wish it were a little closer, because it really is a great place for a photo shoot with little guys.

I love this family -- I first met them several years ago when I did Mila's newborn pictures, and I've been lucky enough to get to photograph them ever since! Last weekend I got to meet the extended family for a large-family session, which was just as fun! I'll be posting that preview in the next couple days... :)

Sweet Baby Kinsley, 6 Days New

Now this is a beautiful baby! Meet Kinsley, quite possibly the most wide-awake 6-day old baby I've ever met! She clearly didn't want to miss a thing for her first-ever modeling session. :) I loved how inquisitively she just stared at the camera every time I was trying to get pictures of her. She wasn't just awake, she was truly studying everything around her and taking it all in. And the SMILES! She was smiling up a storm for her mommy and daddy -- it was so fun to watch! She eventually gave in to the yawns and decided to take a short catnap so we could get some sleepy pictures of her, too.

You can tell her mommy and daddy are just as smitten with her as she is with them -- they are already amazing parents! Congratulations, Cody and Rachel -- I hope you love your sneak peek! 

Congratulations, Darby -- Class of 2017!

 It has certainly been awhile since I have posted anything, but I can't think of anyone I'd be more excited to post about! I've known Darby since she was younger than my oldest son, so it's a bit surreal to think of her graduating this year. I couldn't be happier for her, though -- she has a bright future ahead of her!

Congratulations, Darby -- we are so excited for you and to see what wonderful things your future holds!
